Daniel Johnston first raised Jeremiah, the frog to local fame when he put his friendly frog on the cover of his 1983 album “Hi, How Are You: The Unfinished Album.” Ten years later, Sound Exchange record store commissioned Johnston to paint a mural. Daniel chose the frog, which has become one of Austin’s most beloved murals.
